Self-Lacing Shoes: Nike's New Invention

      

  Can you imagine yourselves wearing sport shoes but you do not need to face any difficulties in lacing the shoes? Now, Nike has introduced self-lacing shoes with high technology that enables the shoes to lace itself. 

        Nike self-lacing shoes or adaptive lacing shoes are when you step in the shoes and your heel will hit a sensor, the system will automatically tighten. There are two buttons on the sides of the shoes that will allow you to adjust  whether you want to loose or tight the laces. Theoretically, the laces will be held in a position where it will prevent the laces from coming undone when you're running it doing any other sports. 

    

       If you are wondering about the battery of these self-lacing shoes, there will be a glowing component built in the sole that acts as a wireless charging point and there are also LEDs at the back to indicate how much charge remains so that the user may be able to charge it when it is on low power. The shoes will need to be recharged once in the fortnight.

Car Without Key: Volvo Invention

     Without the car keys, we cannot unlock and lock our cars. However with the new invention of  technology, Volvo introduce keyless car that does not need the owners to has the key but instead use their smartphone as car keys.  Not only that, the owner also does not need the keys to start the engine and drive away.

      Volvo created a system where we can use our smartphone to unlock and lock the car. In addition of that, through the smartphone, they are able to start the engine and drive. But what if, we lost our smartphone? Do no need to worries as Volvo will continuously to offer the physical keys to the customers even though they will offer the customers to use their smartphone as their keys. Through the new technology also, Volvo set a system where the owners are able to trace the speed of people who use their car. If the speed used are more than the limit, the owner will know about that.

     In my opinion, some people preferred to have the physical key but it is actually convenient to have both as if we lost one of them, we still have the back up.  Some people may find it is easier to use smartphone instead of the real keys as they do not need to bring the keys anywhere, however the choices is in our hand.
